The subjects sat upright, looked at the audience, and burst into maniacal laughter. Fiese then again sent the subjects to sleep, telling them that they would awoke on the imaginary bus, Fiese told them that it was getting very warm. The subjects started throwing their clothing off as the bus got hotter and hotter, but then as suddenly as it warmed up, Fiese told them the temperature was dropping. The subjects huddled together, shivering and breathing on their hands for warmth. Other antics included a student who was told that he had just given birth to a plastic doll, another man who was told that he was in the final stages of pregnancy and needed a doctor right away. Many subjects were told they were being screened by talent judges looking for a Britney Spears lookalike. Before the end of the night the subject were wearing their shoes on the wrong feet and had arms made of steel. Regardless of real age they were all made to be 14 and square dancng champions. Freshman Jeremy Plothow, a.k.a. the pregnant dude, explained what it was like to be hypnotized. "It's like in a dream." Plothow said. "I can remember bits and pices of it , but my memory is very fuzzy." Asked if he was ever in any real pain, Plothow couldn't remeber, although after the show his throat hurt and his stomach felt as if he'd been doing sit-ups.

"My gir friend was just telling me things I was doing up there."Plothow said. "I was doing things I would never do."

Luckuly for Plothow and the other hypnotism subject, Bryan Fiese claimed that hypnotism does not have any negative long term effects. In fact,Fiese claimed that the hypnotic state these subject had been put into would be as effective as eight hours of comfortable sleep. Fiese said that under hypnotism, subjects do not become mindless zombies that can be ordered to do anything. Hollywood has presented hypnotism as a tool that can be used by an evil mastermind to get people to do awful things, like rob banks. Fiese said that in real life, people under hypnotism do nothing they wouldn't do in a fully conscious state, causing many men in the audience to give up the search for a truly hypnotic pick up line.
