Every six months Canada's Clumsy Lovers make a stop in Pocatello, giving the locals the opportunity to get funky and this Friday at the First National Bar will be no exception.

In the beginning the band was reluctant to make the move and become a touring group, but with an overwhelming response from fans, the group has become a mainstay in the Pacific Northwest and showing no signs of slowing down. The Clumsy Lovers keeps an extensive log of their road travels and their last engagement in Pocatello on Friday, October 1st, 2004 was summarized as such: "9:42p.m.  The festivities begin.  What a completely insane show.

I mean, we've had increasingly crazy shows here over the last little while, but this one takes the cake.  Couldn't even differentiate, really, between the sets, cause there was no warm-up period and no wind-down period.  The whole thing just completely rocked from start to finish.

Okay, in the interest of full disclosure it did maybe get a little over the top in terms of certain inebriated folks in the third set, but that's just a quibble. We were very grateful cause it would have been real tough to play an energetic set on two hours sleep and a little bit of travel fatigue if the crowd energy had been lackluster. It was just about as good a time as I think we could possibly have at the First National in Pocatello on a Friday night."

Parties interested in enjoying a night of exceptional live music with friends need look no further than the First National Bar this Friday night when the Clumsy Lovers take stage and play what they call a "unique blend of Celtic, bluegrass and rock influenced" music. See you there!
