POCATELLO, ID - Idaho State University's Department of Sport Science and Physical Education will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Saturday morning, February 12, with a sports clinic for girls from grades kindergarten through six at Reed Gym.
The clinics have space limited for the first 300 girls, and it will run from registration at 8:30a.m. through three sessions, ending at 12:00 noon. The clinic has three major activity sessions, each 45 minutes long. The cost is $10 per child for early registration, and $15 per child at the door.
The event is sponsored by the ISU PE Major's Club - SHEPERD, the Associated Students of ISU, the ISU College of Education, the Departments of Educational Leadership and Sport Science and Physical Education, ISU Campus Recreation, Intercollegiate Athletics, and the local Girls Scouts of the Silver Sage Council.
