Bengal Dancers will present:
"National Farewell" performance at 7p.m. Friday, April 1, in Reed Gymnasium
They will perform the "Cell Block" routine that they will feature at the National Dance Alliance Collegiate Championship in Daytona Beach, Fla., April 6 to 10. The dancers will also perform "80s Mix," one of their more popular halftime routines. The farewell performance will also feature the ISU Cheerleaders and local-area dance studio troupes and dance teams.
Tickets are $3 at the door. All proceeds go to the Bengal Dancers.
The Bengal Dancers are currently ranked second in Division I of the National Dance Alliance Collegiate Championship rankings. The 14-member squad is coached by Hilary Hofmaier and assistant Kaycee Cope.
Championship preliminaries are scheduled April 7 and finals will be held April 8.
