Freshman, Natalie Graham led the Bengals to the win, scoring both goals for ISU.
Utah State jumped on the Bengals early, taking a 1-0 lead just two minutes into the game as they managed to get a shot past Bengal goalie, Esther Toronto.
It didn't take the Bengals long to tie the score. Graham scored her first goal of the day six minutes later to knot the score at 1-1 as Ashlee Maughn dished the ball to Graham and she stuck it in the left corner of the goal.
The teams battled with the score tied at one for the majority of the game, until Graham put ISU ahead to stay. 83 minutes into the contest, she drew the goalie out and then fired a shot past her, giving ISU the victory.
Toronto and sophomore Maren Eves split time at goalie for the Bengals. Toronto allowed one goal and made two saves while Eves stopped six shots without allowing a goal.
For the Bengals Graham took three shots and Jennifer Loo, Maughn, and Michelle Okumura each took one.
ISU will take the field again April 30 when they face club team PVSC U-18 at Davis Field. Game time is set for 10 a.m.
