CW HOG, ISU's Cooperative Wilderness Handicapped Outdoor Group, plans fundraisers for the month of February to benefit adaptive skiers. CW HOG assists skiers with a variety of disabilities, from physical disabilities to developmental disabilities.
The annual CW HOG Ski-A-Thon will be Saturday, February 18 at Pebble Creek Ski Area. Registration begins at 9:30 A.M. in the lodge. Revenue generated supports the Pocatello Adaptive Ski School (PASS), which provides ski instruction and alpine ski opportunities for skiers with disabilities. To make a pledge or inquire about taking part in the Ski-A-Thon contact the CW HOG office at 282-3912.
CW HOG will host an informal SNO-Ball at the Booth Barn on Saturday, February 25. The SNO-Ball will feature live music, dancing and a chili feed. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Pledges of $50 or more at the SKI-A-Thon get in free.
For more info on either event, contact Kriner or Ellis at 282-3912.
