ISU College of Pharmacy students helped students from Xavier School of Pharmacy in New Orleans this past year by selling sweatshirts with the ISU and pharmacy logo. These black, $25 hooded sweatshirts raised over $1,100 in funds for the devastated southern college. Students who attend Xavier in New Orleans are not expected to be able to return for at least a year- forcing them to delaying school, careers and life.

"We hope our small fund-raiser will help in some way the people who are trying to rebuild their school and reorganize their lives," said Marie Schneider, a first-year student.

The ISU College of Technology DEC Club brought home five first place prizes at the Idaho State Career Conference in Twin Falls recently. The seven ISU students who attended the conference won a total of 11 awards and have now qualified to compete in the International Career Development Conference this April in Dallas, Texas. Good luck DEC!
