The votes are in and the winners have been announced for this year's Undergraduate Art Exhibit and Scholarship Competition.

The total amount dispersed to this year's winners totaled over $2400 dollars, ranging from $25 all the way up to $250. On top of that, a total of $710 dollars of scholarship money was handed out to three talented students, Lucas Siems, Danielle Feirge, and Kristina Boswell.

"I try to base most of my work off of the mysteries of nature," stated Danielle Feige, who brought home a total of three wards, including the Art Friends Award, Marky Hinson Memorial Scholarship and the coveted Student Choice Award. "I was the most excited to win the Student Choice Award, this has been a very flattering experience."

This year's Faculty Award was given to Michael Lowenthal for a collection of three paintings. Pond Student Union's Annual Purchase Award was granted to Kristina Boswell and the Printmaking Award was awarded to Todd Munsee for his work, "The Deer Hunt."

For the students who wish to view the works of art need only to visit the John B. Davis Gallery on the lower level of the ISU Fine Arts Building. But hurry the exhibit closes in two days on April 21st.
