Once upon a time, there was a hopeful ISU student pondering the next step he should take in his life. Somewhat bewildered, he decided to seek the wisdom of Pocatello's greatest feline. This is their tale...

And Benny the Bengal asked in a slow and tender voice, "What do you want to be when you graduate little Winston?"

Winston replied with a quivering lip, "Gee, I dunno Benny. I kind of want a job with the FBI; that sounds pretty cool. Oh- or maybe become an engineer so I can create really useful things! Hmm... it would also be rewarding to work for a hospital so I can help people who are in need. Geez Benny, there are so many options and I don't even know where to begin!"

"Well," Benny said with a twinkle in his eye, "you're in luck my boy! The ISU career fair is just around the corner; it'll answer everything your mind wonders."

"Oh boy, oh boy!" Winston shouted.

"Are you ready Winston? Then let's go!" Benny roared. And like the mascot of graduation future, they were suddenly transported to the Ballroom. Excitement filled the air as eager students poured in and out of the busy event. Troy Case and the rest of the Career Center staff smiled as Benny and Winston stepped through the door.

"Wowzers Benny- there must be over 70 businesses here!" Winston said, as if he were in a candy store. "Look at all those representatives; so full of information and insight. And those smiles... they're everywhere! You don't suppose they're giving those smiles away for free, eh Benny?"

"Oh Winston," Benny chuckled, "of course they are!"

"Neato!" Winston exclaimed.

"That's not the only thing they're handing out," Benny proclaimed. "They're also offering information packets, contact numbers, food, gifts, and most importantly, fantastic careers."

"Man, it's a good thing I brought copies of my résumé," Winston sighed. "C'mon Benny, we've got to get these in the hands of all these potential employers!"

And with two clicks of his heels Winston went racing off, talking to as many employers as his voice would allow. Nearly every kind of company was present; there were financial groups, internships, marking firms, banks, government agencies, ag-businesses, communication companies, pharmacies, and many, many more. Suddenly, Winston didn't feel so nervous about graduating. Suddenly, Winston had hopes of putting his degree to good use.
