Ogden, UT --- The Big Sky Conference announced the 2006-07 postseason basketball awards, and Idaho State's David Schroeder was named First Team All-Big Sky, earning conference honors for the second straight year. Weber State's David Patten, who suffered a broken cheekbone during the season but still managed to lead Weber State to a share of the league title was the league Most Valuable Player.
Other individual honors went to a pair of Montana players in Bryan Ellis for best defensive player and Cameron Rundles for Freshman of the Year. Portland State's Dupree Lucas, a transfer from Xavier, was the league's Newcomer of the Year.
