Doma named Big Sky Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week
Junior center garners award for fifth time this season

Ogden, UT--Idaho State's Natalie Doma was named Big Sky Conference Co-Player of the Week after leading the Bengals to a pair of wins last week over Weber State and Sacramento State. Doma has been named the Player of the Week five times this season. She shares the honor with Kelsey Kahle of Portland State.
Doma and the Bengals picked up a pair of wins last week over Weber State and Sacramento State, which helped Idaho State earn the second seed at this year's tournament. Over the two games, Doma averaged 24.0 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. She connected on 54.5 percent of her shots (18-of-33) from the field and hit 85.7 percent (12-of-14) from the free-throw line. She also picked up four steals and four blocks.
The junior center recorded a 24-point, 11-rebound double-double in Thursday's 81-56 win over Weber State. She went 8-of-14 from the field and 8-of-8 from the free-throw line against the Wildcats. She also added three blocks.
Doma followed up that performance on Saturday with a 24-point, 14-rebound effort against Sacramento State. She hit 10-of-19 shots from the field and went 4-for-6 from the charity stripe.
With 1,477 career points, Doma is now just 61 points shy of becoming Idaho State's all-time scoring leader.
The native of Victoria, British Columbia leads the Big Sky in scoring (21.7 ppg) and rebounding (11.8 rpg). In addition, Doma has recorded 22 double-doubles this season.
