Pocatello, ID--The Idaho State volleyball team officially opened spring practice on Feb. 28. The spring slate features a tournament at the University of Utah and home matches against Salt Lake Community College and Northwest Nazarene University.
"We are very pleased with the great progress we have made in the past few months with weights, conditioning, and our individual skills training," Welch said. "The team has been improving with great strides. Starting our team practices this week will only accelerate the process. We have a great group of returning players who are committed to becoming their personal best this spring. We are working diligently to make that a reality."
The spring roster features seven returnees, including one senior, two juniors, and four sophomores. ISU's 2007 signing class will join the Bengals in the fall.
