Letters to the editor

Congrats Jen and Bryan
Dear Editor,
I wanted to take a few minutes and say that, aside from all the issues surrounding the election, Jennifer Brown and Bryan Wheat need to be heartily congratulated for their successful campus election campaign and honored as the ASISU President and Vice-President elect. They did have the most votes, and even if there were to be a recount, there is nothing to suggest they would have lost the election.
Sometimes in the midst of uncertainty and other issues surrounding the election, we lose sight of the fact that all the candidates suffer when there are questions brought against the process. It doesn't mean we shouldn't ever question, and while I certainly hope the process can be improved in future elections, we shouldn't forget that these people who won are still planning to serve our campus with distinction in the year to come. I hope that everyone, myself included, can take a moment to congratulate Jen and Bryan for their success and keep our prayers and hopes with them in order to help create a campus next year that has a cooperative atmosphere and a student body trying to work together despite differences.
Peace,
Bob Devine
