Idaho State defeats Boise State in dual meet

Boise, ID - Competing in an In-State Dual meet the Idaho State women defeated Boise State by a score of 90 to 64. The Idaho State men fell to Boise State by a score of 87 to 67.
"It was a great day of competition between two Idaho Schools," said Head Coach Dave Nielson. John Danielson broke the outdoor shot put school record with a toss of 61'7.75". Danielson broke the previous record of 60'2" set by Zeb Sion in 2006. Other notable marks were set by Cassie Merkley with a regional qualifying mark of 143'4" in the javelin and Jessica Hillam with a toss of 46'11" in the shot put.
