Provo, UT--The Idaho State soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Brigham Young before defeating Southern Utah 1-0 at the BYU Spring Tournament. Kilee Quigley scored Idaho State's game-winning goal against SUU.
Quigley reached the back of the net after connecting on a header off a free kick service from Annamarie Hofstetter.
"Our game against BYU was a tale of two halves," said ISU head coach Allison Gibson. "We played very well in the second half and had some good chances. I was proud of our girls today. We played with one sub against BYU's endless bench. We did a lot of good things against SUU and created a lot of scoring opportunities. The goal was top class and again, I am proud of the hard work these players are putting forth."
Idaho State will wrap up spring play on Saturday, April 21 at Boise State.
