An outdoor farewell

As each of us makes preparations for semester finals, there are a few things that outdoor enthusiasts should be doing. Number one, most of us should be preparing for finals. I understand that many of you are making plans for summer outings and spending sleepless nights thinking of the massive trout you will be catching or the giant mountains you will be exploring, but focus. We all need to focus right now!
At the same time that we need to be focusing on the upcoming finals, there is only so much studying that one can do. Although I want each of you to do well, at the same time, I hope that the articles in this section are appealing enough that you will become distracted long enough to read them.
As a farewell I want to say thank you to all those who have supported my fellow classmates and me as we made our journey through our college experience at ISU. It has been a great experience being able to write for the Bengal, and I hope that the Outdoor Section of the Bengal will be a continued legacy. My plan is to move on into the "real world" after spring graduation. Without a doubt, my experiences at ISU will largely contribute to my future life. To those of you who will be back next semester, I hope that you enjoy your experience at ISU, and take advantage of the numerous opportunities to GET OUT THERE in the outdoors that this area provides.
On one last note, the Outdoor Adventure Center has a great website that includes an event calendar and a ton of information. Check it out at http://www.isu.edu/outdoor/
