Bengal: Where are you from?
Nix: Show Low, Arizona
Bengal: What is one of the biggest challenges of being a student athlete?
Nix: Just finding time to get everything done and the balance between school work and having somewhat of a social life.
Bengal: If you could play or participate in any sport professionally which one would it be and why?
Nix: I would be a professional swimmer, because I love to swim.
Bengal: What is one of your most memorable moments of this inaugural softball season?
Nix: Playing against two of the top teams in the country, Arizona State #2 in the nation at the time, and Oregon State #12 in the nation at the time.
Bengal: What is you favorite holiday?
Nix: Christmas, because I really enjoy being around the family.
Bengal: What is the worst job you ever had?
Nix: I've only had two jobs. One was scooping ice cream, and the other was working at an antique store, you decide which one could've been worse.
Bengal: What are some of your pet peeves?
Nix: When people smack their gum when they chew, and people that are lazy.
Bengal: What is your favorite T.V. show?
Nix: The Bachelor, and Reba.
Bengal: What are your predictions for the softball team next season?
Nix: Next season we'll be very much improved. We've got a lot of great players coming in and we have some good experience under our belts.

ummm...its really wierd that my name is whitney nix too,
and i play softball and im a 1st baseman!!!
