This week the Bengal sat down with Freshman Softball player Whitney Nix. Here's what Nix said.
Bengal: What is your favorite memory of softball?
Nix: Biking the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco on tandem bikes.
Bengal: If you could spend a day with any professional athlete, who would it be?
Nix: Steve Nash, cause he is the man and I love how he plays the game.
Bengal: Do you have any phobias?
Nix: The squirrels on campus really scare me.
Bengal: What positions do you play on the team?
Nix: I'm pretty much a utility player. They put me at a bunch of different positions, but right now I'm at first base.
Bengal: What is the best feeling in softball?
Nix: Feeling good about how you're playing each game.
Bengal: What are you studying in school?
Nix: Right now, I'm pre- Dental Hygiene.
Bengal: Who is your favorite celebrity?
Nix: Right now, it'd have to be the Bachelor, because he's the ultimate MAN.
Bengal: Do you remember you first college crush? Who was it?
Nix: Yes, it was David Schroeder
Bengal: Do you have a favorite quote?
Nix: Yes, it's "See the possibilities"
Bengal: What is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?
Nix: If I had more spare time it would be spent sleeping.
Bengal: What are some of your goals after you finish at Idaho State University?
Nix: Be a success at whatever it is I plan to do.
Bengal: What is your favorite day of the week and why?
Nix: Friday, because it means the week is over.
Bengal: What kind of music do you listen to? Do you have a favorite band or singer?
Nix: Lots of stuff, but mainly country. I really like Clay Walker because of his amazing voice.
Bengal: How many kids are there in your family?
Nix: Five

ummm...its really wierd that my name is whitney nix too,
and i play softball and im a 1st baseman!!!
