Public Safety Log: 8/31/07 - 9/08/07

On 08/31/07 at approximately 9:28 a.m. at the Rendezvous Center, Public Safety responded for a fire alarm. Pocatello Fire Department responded and found the area to be clear of emergency. Case referred to Maintenance for further inspection of the smoke detectors.
On 08/31/07 at approximately 12:19 p.m. at the Pond Student Union Building, Public Safety responded to assist Emergency Medical Services with a report of an ISU student that fainted in the stairway and twisted their ankle. EMS responded and transported the individual to Portneuf Medical Center.
On 09/02/07 at approximately 2:06 a.m. at the Rendezvous Complex, Public Safety responded to an information report concerning a possibly intoxicated individual. The case was referred to the Dean of Students.
On 09/03/07 at approximately 1:38 a.m. in the Fine Arts Building, Public Safety to a report of underage ISU students having alcohol on campus. Case referred to the Dean of Students.
On 09/04/07 at approximately 2:01 a.m. at the Performing Arts Center, Public Safety assisted Pocatello Police Department with a human-powered vehicle violation. The individuals were given ISU verbal warnings and advised of the human-powered vehicle policy on campus.
On 09/04/07 at approximately 10:56 a.m. at the Administration Building, Public Safety responded to a report of a bomb threat. Pocatello Police Department was contacted and responded. The area was evacuated, searched, and it was determined safe for people to re-enter. Case referred to PPD, the FBI, and the Dean of Students.
On 09/04/07 at approximately 3:12 p.m. in the G01 Lot, Public Safety responded to a report of an altered/forged parking permit. Case referred to the Dean of Students.
On 09/24/07 at approximately 1757 hours at Schubert Heights Housing Complex, Public Safety responded to a report of vandalism to Housing property. Housing and Maintenance were contacted.
On 09/04/07 at approximately 9:14 p.m. at Hold Arena, Public Safety assisted the Pocatello Police Department with an accident.
On 09/06/07 at approximately 7:55 p.m. in the G03 Lot, Public Safety responded to a report of vandalism. Case referred to ISU Grounds.
On 09/06/07 at approximately 10:31 p.m. at the Sports Medicine Building, Public safety responded to a report of a car theft. Pocatello Police Department was contacted and responded. Case refereed to Pocatello Police.
