Bengal Chat: Coach Zamberlin

Mike Waldram

Issue date: 9/12/07 Section: Sports
Bengal: What are some of the goals you have during your tenure at ISU?
Zamberlin: First and foremost I want to build a program that the community of Pocatello and the University are proud of. Maximize the potential of the athletes and coaches I work with, and consistently win the Big Sky Championship.
Bengal: What can students and fans do to support the football program?
Zamberlin: The main thing is to come to the games and be a part of what is happening. That also goes for the other programs as well. ISU and Pocatello need to be known as a place that is difficult for other teams to play. I'm excited to hear how loud the fans can get in Holt Arena.
Bengal: Who will win the NCAA title this year?
Zamberlin: USC, I'm a west-coast guy.
Bengal: Is there any one thing that you want to do in Pocatello that you haven't been able to do yet?
Zamberlin: Find the time to explore all that Pocatello has to offer. There are a lot of things that I'm interested in doing and I'm looking forward to spending some time getting familiar with this town.
Bengal: What team or teams will be surprised when then play against ISU this season?
Zamberlin: Everybody that is ranked in front of us had better be ready to play.
