Zamberlin: I am married and have 4 kids, two live with us now.
Bengal: Where did you grow up?
Zamberlin: I pretty much grew up in Tacoma, Washington.
Bengal: Other than football, what is your favorite sport?
Zamberlin: Baseball
Bengal: As a child, what did you want to do when you 'grew up'?
Zamberlin: I wanted to play professional baseball.
Bengal: Who is your favorite pro baseball team?
Zamberlin: The Boston Red Sox
Bengal: What is your favorite movie?
Zamberlin: Anything with John Wayne in it.
Bengal: What is your favorite food?
Zamberlin: Steak
Bengal: Why were you interested in coaching at ISU?
Zamberlin: I felt that ISU was a 'sleeping giant' so to speak. It is loaded with potential and possibilities. A great place to build a program.
Bengal: What was your first impression as you arrived in Pocatello?
Zamberlin: I thought it was pretty big compared to the college town that I coached in before, which was Ellensburg, Washington.
Bengal: What are your most memorable moments in life?
Zamberlin: First of all, my marriage to Mary Ellen, and secondly would definitely be the birth of my kids.
Bengal: Who on the team this year do you laugh at the most? Why?
Zamberlin: Will Yoder, because he reminds me of Fred Flinstone.
Bengal: What do you think of the car that Phil Meador gives you to drive?
Zamberlin: It's awesome. It's a Ford Expidition and I'm very appreciative of Phil for giving it to me to drive.
Bengal: What is your favorite color?
Zamberlin: Blue
Bengal: What other coaches have you met at ISU?
Zamberlin: I've met pretty much all of them?
Bengal: If you and Women's Soccer Coach Allison Gibson went bowling, who would win? Why?
Zamberlin: She might actually win cause she has better knees, and I haven't bowled in quite a while.
Bengal: Do you golf? What's your lowest score on 18 holes?
Zamberlin: I don't golf very well, I love 'scrambles' and 'best ball'.
Bengal: What did you think about Division I-AA Appalachian State defeating Michigan on the opening day of the season?
Zamberlin: It was great for us as a smaller school and conference and for college football in general, but not for Michigan. I've used it several times this week as a motivational tool for our team. Especially, because we're going to play some tough teams this season.
