The annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Fundraiser will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wed., Sept. 26, in the Bennion Student Union Multi-purpose room in Idaho Falls, and again on Wed., Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the ISU Quad (rain site: PSUB Ballroom). The men participating will take a stand against sexual and domestic violence by "Walking a Mile" (or more!) in women's shoes (mostly high-heels), and show that all men can be part of the solution to end violence against women. Each of the men will complete laps around a designated paved area on the ISU Quad. They will accept pledges of 25 cents or more for each lap completed. All walkers must have a minimum of $25 in pledges/donations to participate. Money raised will benefit violence prevention and education on the ISU campus and the Pocatello community. To participate or to make a pledge, contact Project Hope or the Anderson Center, at 282-2805 in Pocatello, or the Bennion Student Union Information Desk in Idaho Falls. For more info contact Kim Talbot at the Anderson center at 282-2805 or HYPERLINK "mailto:talbkimb@isu.edu" talbkimb@isu.edu.
