Idaho State looks to stay undefeated at home

Friday will mark just the second time that Idaho State and San Jose State have faced each other. The Spartans hold the 1-0-0 advantage after taking a 1-0 victory over Idaho State last season in California. Idaho State holds a 13-14-4 all-time record against teams from the Western Athletic Conference.
Idaho State and Air Force will meet for the fourth time on Sunday. The two teams last met in 2005 with Air Force taking a 3-0 win in Colorado Springs. Air Force holds a 2-0-1 series lead over the Bengals. The Bengals and Falcons have met just one time in Pocatello as the two teams played to a 0-0 double overtime tie on Sept. 9, 2001. ISU holds an all-time 3-16-3 record against teams from the Mountain West Conference.
Northern Iowa will be participating in the Idaho State Classic this week at Davis Field. The team will take on Air Force on Friday at 1 p.m. before facing San Jose State on Sunday at 11 a.m. The Panthers hold a 2-3-1 record. The team went 1-1-0 last week, defeating IUPUI 3-0 before falling to Valparaiso 0-1 in overtime. The team is yet to play a home game this season. Freshman Chelsie Hochstedler has scored five of UNI's seven goals this season. The team is a member of the Missouri Valley Conference.
