Ski pioneer from Idaho inducted into Hall of Fame

A.W. "Woody " Anderson was recently inducted into the Intermountain Ski Hall of Fame during ceremonies at the Park City Utah Olympic Park; one of the region's most prestigious ski-related honors. Anderson, owner/chairman of the Pomerelle Resort and long time Idahoan, was honored along with five other 2007 inductees.

Keeping the pests away with a little pepper spray

Biting dogs, muggers and random thugs. Many runners and hikers can tell scary stories that would top most campfire legends. There's the shifty guy at the bike trail who looks like he's up to no good. And at the nearby forest preserve, some dog owners insist on letting their biting pups run off leash.
