Homecoming game no sweat for football team

Homecoming week ended with a bang as Idaho State's football team beat Northern Colorado 26-14 on the newly dedicated Caccia Field. The field was dedicated to the legendary coach, Babe Caccia, who led ISU to two undefeated seasons in the 1950's. ISU's team truly held the spirit of Caccia as they executed one of the best offensive games of the season.

Bengal: Where did you grow up? Cloward: Casper, Wyoming, and I lived to Jamaica for two years. Bengal: How long have you played football, how did you start? Cloward: Since 9th grade, my mom wouldn't let me play, then my geometry coach told me to come out and play and the rest is history.

Bengals take first place victories in snowy meet

The Bengal cross country teams took first place in the Idaho State Dual Meet at the centennial course Saturday morning. The Bengals ran the meet in a heavy and unexpected snow storm that dropped six inches on the course. The men and women's teams also took first place in their respective meets, another pretty impressive performance from both squads.

Zeidman earns honor as team gears up for NAU

Idaho State University's football team heads down to Flagstaff, Arizona looking to even up their conference record at 2-2, and stay in contention for a top finish in the Big Sky Conference. The Bengals will enter the game with the reigning Special Teams Player of the Week in the Big Sky in punter/kickoff specialist Dan Zeidman.

ISU hosts Montana, Montana State

The Bengals will return home for their next five games after being on the road for 10 of their last 13. Idaho State will be looking to break an 8 game losing streak this week against Montana and Montana State. They will also be looking for their first conference win and a chance to get back in the hunt for the Big Sky tournament.

Road woes? No more

The ISU soccer team faces the Southern Utah University Thunderbirds on Saturday the sixth in Cedar City Utah. Coming into the game ISU had not had win on the road. Well it all came out on Saturday as six different players scored for ISU and the Bengals rocked Southern Utah 7-1, setting a school record for most goals scored in a game against a Division I opponent.

Bengals fall on road, still winless in conference

Charlee Kinghorn scores her third career double-double Thursday night at Northern Arizona, but the ISU Bengals will have to wait to pick up their first conference win of the season after coming up short against NAU 3-0 (26-30, 27-30, 27-30) Thursday night at Rolle Activity Center in Flagstaff.
