Klovas: I threw in the mid 80's as a sophomore. I gave up pitching to focus on lifting and for football as a Junior.
Bengal: What is your favorite food?
Klovas: I look forward all week to the Friday night pre-game meal at the Ramada.
Bengal: Are potatoes growing on you?
Klovas: I've always been a fan of potatoes.
Bengal: Did that play any factor in your decision to come to Idaho State?
Klovas: None whatsoever. I came to ISU because I thought there was a real chance to win a championship here. Although now when I eat a potato anywhere I have to ask myself if it came from Idaho.
Bengal: What are you studying?
Klovas: I am studying Organization Communication and Rhetorical Studies, with a focus in Organization Communication.
Bengal: What do you want to do after college?
Klovas: I want to play football as long as I can. You never know what road you're going to go down. That's what I like about my degree; it opens a lot of doors.
Bengal: What is one thing that you have never done, that you would like to do?
Klovas: Win a championship. I felt like I had a pretty good chance at a PAC-10 school, and now I feel like we have a chance here. We are doing some good things and heading in the right direction.
Bengal: What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
Klovas: I love to be on, in, or by the water. There were 10 lakes within 10 miles of my house in Graham. I love boating, fishing, everything. I spent my whole summer in American Falls on the Reservoir and on the River.
Bengal: What about the winter?
Klovas: I try not to crash my vehicle and I try not slip on the sidewalk. I would like to try snowmobiling. It reminds me of jet-skiing.
Bengal: Why do you where the number 58?
Klovas: It was the original number given to me. As a sophomore I was given 58 and I took a liking to it. I have had it in every game I've played along the way.
Bengal: What personal goals do you want to accomplish before you leave ISU?
Klovas: I want to win a championship. We are really close for next year and I think we can do it. I also want to get my degree - obviously that is the most important thing to take from college.
Bengal: What do the fans need to know about the football team?
Klovas: We continue every week to put in the time and energy necessary to win games. We appreciate all of the support we get from the fans. It makes us work harder so that we can succeed and win. We want to get and keep the fans excited. When the fans are loud, it really affects the game. ISU really has a definite advantage in the dome when the fans are loud. So keep coming out to give us that edge.
Bengal: I couldn't agree more. The Dome can really rock. Congratulations on the big win today. Good luck next week at NAU and hopefully we'll see a packed Holt on the 20th. Thanks for sitting down with us.
Klovas: Any time. Come on out on the 20th let's rock the dome.
