ISU hosts Montana, Montana State

The Bengals will return home for their next five games after being on the road for 10 of their last 13. Idaho State will be looking to break an 8 game losing streak this week against Montana and Montana State. They will also be looking for their first conference win and a chance to get back in the hunt for the Big Sky tournament.
The Grizzlies are coming off a 3-0 loss to Sacramaneto State. It was their only game last week. Montana has lost 3 of their last 4. Their only win in that span came against Montana State.
Last time when the Bengals played Montana, Jessica Gurney matched a career high with 17 kills and Nikki Havens added 13 but a flat defensive effort handed Montana a 3-1 (17-30, 23-30, 30-27, 24-30) win over Idaho State at Reed Gym.
Montana State is also looking for their first Big Sky win heading into this week. They will travel to Weber State Friday before coming to Pocatello on Saturday. The Bobcats lost to Sacramento State last week. When the Bengals last played Montana State, Nikki Havens connected on a match-high 23 kills and Jessica Gurney added 18 as Idaho State won a marathon 3-2 (31-29, 30-25, 17-30, 24-30, 15-12) match over Montana State at Reed Gym. That was ISU's last conference win.
