An above average attendance to the fair surprised the Career Center and the Pre Health Advisory committee. Over 200 students and some local Pocatellans took advantage of the fair to learn about possible careers and colleges that could start them on a successful career path.
Some 44 poor and 31 veterans came to take advantage of the wide array of services provided from the 2007 Homeless Stand Down, sponsored by ISU, on Saturday at the Bannock County Fairgrounds. The event had countless sponsors so that free flu shots, free shower and haircuts, and phone calls could be provided.
The Graduation Pledge of Social and Environmental Responsibility states, "I pledge to explore and take into account the social and environmental consequences of any job I consider and will try to improve these aspects of any organizations for which I work.
Primary colors filled the rainy sky and gave delight to many children and ISU students, faculty, staff and community members. But it wasn't a rainbow that tickled their fancies. It was a gigantic hot air balloon. Students and community members started lining up at Bartz Field on Saturday at 7:30 a.
