ISU football impresses on historic day

On Saturday afternoon 5,925 people witnessed history. Idaho State picked up another much needed conference win at the expense of Portland State. After years of success in domes with the Houston Oilers and Atlanta Falcons, Jerry Glanville came to Holt Arena hoping to continue that success.

Women's volleyball shows improvement after a tough week

The Bengals volleyball team had a busy week last week playing three games in just six days at Reed Gym. The last two games were close, but despite some personal records from a few of the players, ISU came up short against Eastern Washington and Portland State University.

ISU tied again with Northern Colorado on Saturday. On the cold breezy day at Davis field neither team was able to score in the double overtime game that ended in a 0-0 tie. ISU's record setting eighth overtime game of the season moved their record to 5-4-6, and 0-1-3 in the conference.

Staying consistent amid change

In an era when coaches come and go, there is a constant at ISU in the cross-country program. Brian Janssen has been here at ISU for 22 years. Janssen was introduced to cross-country after graduating from college. He was a sprinter in college and the road races that were prevalent in the late 70's sparked his interest.
