On Saturday, tens of thousands of people across the nation and the world rallied and marched against the reckless War in Iraq and urged our leaders to bring the war to an end. United for Peace and Justice, the largest peace group in the country, organized 11 regional protests across the country, including one in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Coming to ISU is not an easy task

Fifteen-years ago in war-torn Afghanistan, Romal Hussaini probably never imagined he would make it to America to receive a higher education. Even though Afghanistan is more peaceful now, it was still not easy to obtain a student visa. Hussaini had to travel twice to Pakistan with paperwork to get the documents in order.

Jennifer Otte, a Facilities Services custodial supervisor, swears she isn't crazy. There are ghosts at ISU, and co-worker Penny Miller agrees with her. The two have been unwilling witnesses to ghost sightings around campus. "I don't like people thinking that I am nuts," Otte said.
