Remember the days when Mom spent weeks sewing the perfect Halloween costume?
Probably not.
More likely by the time Oct. 31 rolled around, you found yourself hastily christened a hobo or dressed as the remarkably simple ghost year after year.
Do not make the same mistakes with your own children; now is the time for change.
Starting Monday, the five-part series "Witch Crafts" is showing on cable's DIY channel highlighting the network's best Halloween how-to tips, from throwing frightfully fun parties with silly snacks and ghoulish decor to making creepy costumes sans, um, bed sheets.
