College Democrats post-caucus meeting Feb. 13
All are welcome to attend the ISU College Democrats post-caucus discussion and platform building meeting Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 6:17 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Clearwater Room on the third floor of the Pond Student Union Building.
The theme will be building a platform of ideas for local and ISU Democrats to be represented at the State Convention in June. Come help shape the vision.
The College Democrats will now meet every week on Wednesday at 6:17 pm in the Clearwater room until further notice.
Valentine's Day Peace Rally Feb. 14
The Idaho Progressive Student Alliance will be holding a Valentine's Day peace rally with the theme of "Love Equals Peace," Thursday, Feb. 14, at 12:30 p.m. on the ISU Hutchinson Quad. All those interested are encouraged to join in a period of silence, open dialogue and reflection concerning the struggles in the world and the current conflict in Iraq. 'V-Monologues' set for Feb. 14-16
A production of Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues" will run Feb. 14-16 at 7 p.m. in the Chick and Diane Bilyeu Theatre in Frazier Hall on the Idaho State University campus.
The production is part of the Women's History Month celebration at ISU and raises funds for ISU's Project Hope. Admission is $5 for students and $10 for public. For more information, contact Maureen McGuire at (208) 240-0565.
V-Day is a global movement to end violence against women and girls. It raises funds and awareness through benefit productions of playwright/founder Eve Ensler's award-winning play "The Vagina Monologues." 2008 marks V-Day's 10-year anniversary. International trade expert to speak Feb. 14 and 15
Prof. Isidoro Hodara, an internationally recognized figure in trade among nations, will visit ISU Feb. 14 and 15 to address students in finance and economics classes. He will also speak at the Pocatello Rotary Club luncheon on Feb. 14.
