ISU May 10 commencement features new 10 a.m. start time
The time of commencement ceremonies this spring has been changed. Commencement is now scheduled for May 10 beginning at 10 a.m. in Holt Arena.
In previous years, commencement occurred in the afternoon.
Following the ceremony there will be a reception for the entire Idaho State University community on the turf in Holt Arena. Graduates and their guests, as well as all faculty and staff, are invited.

Golden Dragon Acrobats to perform March 22 at Stephens PAC
Acrobats from Hebei, China will perform to traditional Chinese music in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall of the Stephens Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Tickets available at the Stephens PAC box office. For information, call 282-3595.
College of Education to host early childhood symposium
ISU College of Education will host an Early Childhood Symposium on Constructivist Education at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3, in the College of Education Auditorium, Room ED 243.
Rheta DeVries, Ph.D., professor of curriculum and instruction at University of Northern Iowa, will give the keynote address titled "A Constructivist Approach to Science in EC Classrooms: Physical-Knowledge Activities."
ISU's College of Education invites everyone to attend and learn more about how to provide developmentally appropriate physical knowledge activities to enhance early childhood science curricula in public education. Admission is free.

Spring Break Monday, March 24 to Friday March 28
No Classes will be held during this time. Students are encouraged to relax, take a load off and generally enjoy their free time, according to administration officials. Public Safety officials said they would cite anyone found studying during the mandatory break, regardless of location. For more information, call your nearest travel agent a book a flight to somewhere warm.
