Catch up on Idaho State University Softball

On March 7, Washington dominated and ended with an 11-3 victory against the Bengals. In the second game, against Southern Illinois, ISU had to play within minutes of the Washington game. The Bengals held it together for one run and Southern Illinois took the victory at 14-1.

The Bengals finished out the tournament with loses to Eastern Kentucky University, University of Hawai'i and a second game against Southern Illinois. ISU faced both Eastern Kentucky and Hawai'i on March 8. Eastern Kentucky won with a score of 8-0. Hawai'i took the win with an 8-0 score as well. Southern Illinois took their second win against ISU with a score of 9-3 on March 9.

In this tournament ISU faced teams that were either nationally ranked last year or are nationally ranked this year and recognized that it was a challenge. They will put their losess behind them as they prepare for their next games.

ISU's next home game is April 7. They are scheduled to play the College of Idaho at Rainey Park in Pocatello at 12 p.m. They will play the College of Idaho-again, 30 minutes after their first game.
