Introduction to Islam
The ISU Muslim Student Association would like to invite everyone to attend the presentation of "Introduction to Islam" by Enouri Omar Wednesday, April 2, from 5-6 p.m. in the Wood River room of the Pond Student Union Building. The presentation will be followed by a 15-20 minute question and answer period. Light refreshments will be provided. For more information contact Syed Ahmed at ahmesyed@isu.edu.
Seventh annual Tech Expo at Holt Arena April 3
The ISU College of Technology and School District 25 Gateway Academies will host the seventh annual Tech Expo on Thursday, April 3, at Holt Arena. Tech Expo will run 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.
In conjunction with the evening session of the Expo, Business After Hours will be held. Business and community members are invited to visit with faculty, staff and students at the various program displays.
The Tech Expo highlights business, industry and educational opportunities in the region while promoting professional-technical education. The event is free and open to the public.

Early childhood symposium
The ISU College of Education will host an Early Childhood Symposium on Constructivist Education at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3, in the College of Education Auditorium, Room ED 243.
Rheta DeVries, Ph.D., professor of curriculum and instruction at University of Northern Iowa, will give the keynote address titled "A Constructivist Approach to Science in EC Classrooms: Physical-Knowledge Activities."
ISU's College of Education invites everyone to attend and learn more about how to provide developmentally appropriate physical knowledge activities to enhance early childhood science curricula in public education. Admission is free.
