Russia's White Night April 11
The ISU Russian Club will be holding Russia's White Night, an event to celebrate Russian culture with food, music and dance, on Friday, April 11, at 6:30 p.m. in the Wood River Room of the Pond Student Union Building.
Tickets are $5 for children, $8 for student, and $12 for faculty/staff/community members. For more information on the event, contact Susan Schaefer at 403-3578 or schasusa@isu.edu.
A Night in Mexico April 12
The Hispanic Awareness Leadership Organization and the Student Activities Board will be announcing A Night in Mexico on Saturday, April 12, at 5 p.m. in the Pond Student Union Building Ballroom.
Only 300 tickets are available for this event. Tickets are $8 for students, $9 for Faculty, community and staff, and $5 for children.
The event will include traditional folkloric dance, authentic Mexican food and drinks, a performance by local band Los Miler, and live professional mariachi Hermanos Zavala. For more information call Luis Hernandez at 316-1155.
LOTR Trilogy continues in Bengal Theater April 13, 20
The second and third installments of the winner of the Idaho Progressive Student Alliance's "Best Trilogy" contest, The Lord of the Rings, will be shown Sunday, April 13, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 20, at 6:30 p.m., respectively, in the Bengal Theater. Tickets will be $2 and will include a free small drink and popcorn.
LIFE Scholarship Offered
LIFE (Living Independently for Everyone), Inc., is seeking applicants for an $8,000 scholarship, which is available to a person with a disability seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree from an Idaho university, college, or technical college.
Applications are due by May 1; The award decision on or about June 21.

Applications are currently being accepted for 2008-2009 ASISU student government positions, including: chief of staff; elections board chair and four members; government relations board (one lobbyist in Boise and two members); Senate fiscal officer; Student Voice coordinator; Idaho Falls Student Activities Board members; Idaho Falls Student Involvement coordinator. Those interested should go to the ASISU office in the Pond Student Union Building, room 251, or call 282-3435 for more information.
