Athletic Director Paul Bubb ended his fourth year at ISU by giving his resignation Friday, March 28.

Before spring break, Bubb was put on administrative leave due to an ongoing investigation, the details of which have never been fully disclosed. With his resignation, Bubb put an end to this investigation.

During the investigation, Jeff Tingey, Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Corporate Sales, temporarily took over Bubb's duties as interim Althetic Director. Tingey will continue as Acting Director of Athletics while ISU searches for a replacement.

In Bubb's resignation letter, online at NBC Newschannel 6's website www.kpvi.com, Bubb stated "The relationship between the Director of Athletics and the President must be one of mutual trust and respect, and I believe that is lacking at the present time."

Bubb ended his resignation letter by wishing success to the ISU Althetic Department.
