Imago Theatre's FROGZ comes to ISU April 16

ISU Theatre and Dance will welcome Imago Theatre's presentation of Carol Triffle's theatrical comedy FROGZ on Wednesday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m., in the Joseph C. and Cheryl H. Jensen Grand Concert Hall in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center.

FROGZ has received outstanding reviews from The Boston Globe, USA Today, The New York Times and Variety magazine.

This creature -like performance is appropriate for all ages. It has been viewed by millions on television and on stage and has been touring internationally since 1986. It's been on Broadway twice and will visit ISU for the first time on April 16.

Tickets are $18 for the main level and $14 for the upper level. The group's Web site is www.imagotheatre.com/frogz.shtml.

Wine Tasting and Social Evening April 17

Friends of Oboler Library are sponsoring A Toast to Our Authors Thursday evening in the Wood River Room. The event will run from 5:30-7:30, admission is $15 and benefits the Library Special Collections. For reservations call 282-2997.

President of American Dental Hygiene Association to give a speech April 18

Students in the dental hygiene department are invited to listen to a speech given by the president of American Dental Hygiene Association on Friday, April 18 in the afternoon at the Rendezvous Center. Musical 'Pippin' to be performed at ISU April 18-19, 24-26

Theatre/Dance ISU and the ISU Department of Music are presenting the musical "Pippin" at 7:30 p.m. April 18-19 and 24-26 at the Beverly B. Bistline Thrust Theatre in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center.

Seating is limited, and tickets are available now at the Performing Arts Center box office, or by phone at 282-3595. Tickets can be ordered ON-LINE at www.isu.edu/tickets. The cost is $12 for adults; $10 for seniors; $7 for children ages 6-12 and $5 for ISU Students with their Bengal card.
