2008 Woodie Awards
The dance group 024dance, guided by Rossa Visser, held their first concert on Saturday, April 12, in the Roger's Black Box Theater at the Performing Arts Center. This marked my first experience with modern dance. My first impression was a combination of confusion and interest.
I was one of about 250 students who set their priorities and studies aside last Tuesday, April 8, to attend the ISU Idol contest held at Frazier Auditorium. An all-female music group from Los Angeles called Raining Jane was a featured band that played throughout the evening.
