ISU Greek Week April 23-26

The ISU Greek Council will be holding its annual Greek Week celebration Wednesday, April 23, through Saturday, April 26. The event is sponsor by Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority, and Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity.

The week will begin Wednesday with the Greek Olympics on the ISU Quad at 6 p.m., which will include a five-legged relay, Frisbee golf and butt painting. Thursday will be the Greek Parthenon Games in the Canoe Room of the Pond Student Union Building starting at 6 p.m. as well, and will include Rock Band and Twister. Friday will be the Take Back the Night march against domestic and sexual violence at 6:30 p.m. The march will start from the front steps of the Bannock County Courthouse to the ISU Quad.

Saturday the "Wet-n-Wild Greeks" party will be at the Bengal Creek Housing complex at 3 p.m., which will include a free BBQ and water games outside and in the pool.

All events are free, and students are encouraged to participate and learn about and experience Greek life at ISU in the process. For more information, contact Greek Council President Nick Ogami at 794-2337.

Musical 'Pippin' to be performed at ISU April 24-26

Theatre/Dance ISU and the ISU Department of Music are presenting the musical "Pippin" at 7:30 p.m. April 24-26 at the Beverly B. Bistline Thrust Theatre in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center.

Seating is limited and tickets are available now at the Performing Arts Center box office, or by phone at 282-3595. Tickets can be ordered ON-LINE at www.isu.edu/tickets. The cost is $12 for adults; $10 for seniors; $7 for children ages 6-12 and $5 for ISU Students with their Bengal card.

Community Environmental Fair April 26

The fourth annual Community Environmental Fair will be held on Saturday, April 26, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Tydeman/Optimist Park on Eighth Avenue and Sherman Street.
