What makes yogurt so good for you?

Yogurt is not the only food product that contains probiotics. Many products, even cereals, have probiotics added to them to enhance the health benefits of the product. Cereal with probiotics is a great way for people who either don't like dairy or cannot have it to still receive the benefits of probiotics. Another option for those who cannot have dairy due to an allergy or intolerance is soy yogurt. Although soy yogurt is not as easy to find as regular yogurt, it is becoming more popular in grocery stores. One key point to remember when you are trying to increase the health of your digestive system is that it doesn't happen overnight. While there are some immediate benefits after consuming the probiotics, the greatest benefit is achieved when probiotics are consumed on a regular basis. Incorporating yogurt into your diet is not only a great way to increase the health of your digestive system, but also a great way to get another serving of dairy into your diet.
