A New Year, New Look for ISU Football

Gone are the orange jerseys and white pants worn by the football team the past two seasons and in their place the Bengals will wear all black home uniforms. The Bengals will also tweak the helmets a little bit. The design will remain the same but, the "IS" logo on the side of the helmet will change from orange with a black outline to black with an orange outline.

Longtime Idaho State University play-by-play announcer, Jerry Miller, has officially been named the lead broadcaster for Idaho State's football and men's basketball coverage for the 2008-09 season, replacing Russ Eisenstein. Eisenstein informed the university that he would be taking over as the broadcast director for Ohio University's football and men's basketball program and was officially introduced at Ohio University on Thursday Aug.

Bengals Name Chad Teichert as Head Volleyball Coach

Idaho State University Interim Director of Athletics, Jeff Tingey, has announced that Chad Teichert, one of the top volleyball clinicians in the nation and one of the nation's winningest high school coaches, has been tabbed as the ninth head volleyball coach in ISU history, replacing Mike Welch, who held the post from 2000-2007.

Seton Sobolewski, an assistant at UC-Riverside for the past six seasons, has been named by Interim Director of Athletics, Jeff Tingey, as the 12th Head Women's Basketball Coach in Idaho State history, replacing Jon Newlee, who left the Bengals on April 15 to take over the University of Idaho's program.
