Michelle Grohs is a senior forward for the Idaho State women's basketball team. The Salmon, Idaho native has seen regular action with the Bengals since she was a freshman. Noted for her all-around play, Grohs became a starter in 2007, where she was the third leading scorer behind Natalie Doma and Andrea Lightfoot and led the team in blocked shots, with 28 on the season.
Redshirt junior Paige Palmer set the record for most digs in a season, but the Bengals fell to the Montana Grizzlies (24-26,25-21,23-25,25-27) on Saturday, Nov. 22, in Reed Gym. Palmer's new record of 503 digs passed the previous record of 491 held by Bri Beal, who achieved it during the 2006 season.

The 4374 in attendance witnessed a very physical game that included a scuffle between Donnie Carson and BYU's Jonathan Tavernari, as the Cougars out ran and out muscled the Bengals for the victory.
The Idaho State volleyball kicked off their final home games of the season with a hard-fought, five set win (25-15, 24-26, 17-25, 25-22, 15-9) over Montana State on Friday, Nov. 21. The match started quickly for the Bengals, as they dominated the Bobcats in the first set out hitting them .

Thanksgiving weekend weather may have been perfect in Los Angeles with 70 degree temperatures, but inside Loyola Marymount's Gerston Pavilion the Idaho State women's basketball team found poor weather on the court as they fell twice, first to the host Loyola Marymount 69-55, then the North Dakota State Bison trampled the Bengals 68-55.
